Workshop Logistics
Field Site:
Community Trail Farm
ORA Trails has purchased and protected a large parcel of land just one mile east of La Crosse, Wisconsin in the town of Shelby. The 277 acres of forest and farmland provides stunning views, Class A trout stream frontage on Pammel Creek, and 500 feet of elevation. Its close proximity to neighborhoods, businesses, schools, public transit, and other public land provides opportunities to explore the region’s historic and prehistoric cultures.
Why Hold the workshops in La Crosse?
ORA Trails has engaged with multiple PTBA member companies on the visioning and planning of the trail system at the Community Trail Farm. It is exciting to have a field site for workshops where the Summit can be a part of a community legacy.
